This high-performance coil-over shock/spring combination gives your Toyota improved handling, as well as a low, aggressive look to complement large-diameter wheels and high-performance tires. The high-strength-steel dampers are a gas-filled, twin-tube design and tuned by TRD for handling precision and a firm, comfortable ride. Shortened damper bodies allow for a drastically lowered ride height while maintaining an adequate suspension travel. Springs are high-tensile, cold-wound, shot-peened spring steel, that are powder-coated red for long-term corrosion protection. Spring rates are stiffened to 250 lbs./inch, for reduced body roll in hard cornering. Ride height is easily adjustable, lowering the front from 1 to 2-3/8 inches, and the rear from 1 to 2 inches, giving you the freedom to set just the look and handling balance you prefer, without exceeding factory alignment parameters.

Lowering Springs
(Part #PTR09-12030-18)
Regular Price: $ 317.77
On Sale For: $262.47

The first step in improving handling performance is installing a set of TRD Lowering Springs. They typically lower your vehicle from 1 to .5 inches, front and rear, lowering its center of gravity for quicker turn-in, enhanced steering response and improved cornering. TRD Lowering Springs have proven their advantage in extensive skidpad, slalom and high-speed road course testing. The lowering effect also improves your vehicle’s looks, letting your wheels and tires fill the wheelwells for an aggressive profile. The springs are either progressively wound with 2 or more separate rates or linear, depending on the application, producing a controlled, comfortable ride for day-to-day use, and extra performance in hard driving. They are cold rolled, high quality spring steel to prevent long-term setting or sagging and are phosphate-and-epoxy coated for long-term corrosion protection.
